Camvac Limited would like to wish all their Customers & Suppliers a Happy Christmas & a Prosperous New Year. Each year, Camvac chooses local charities to receive a donation, instead of sending out traditional Christmas cards. This year’s chosen charities are The Salvation Army and Star Throwers.
Each Friday, all Camvac staff are invited to come in to work in casual wear and take part in the aptly named ’Dress Down Fridays’, in exchange for a £1.00, with all money raised being donated to local charities. Camvac attended its second Job Fair held in the market town of Diss in Norfolk on 26th October 2017. The event, organised by the Job Centre, was a success and gave Camvac the opportunity to meet and present the company to local people seeking employment and also to meet other local businesses.
Camvac has started two new Continuous Improvement projects. “Project Jones” on waste reduction and “Project Mainwaring” on releasing capacity. Here you can see key members of the Project Teams working on a SMED exercise. Team Barcelona just about beat Team Real Madrid, albeit in extra time!
